Headquartered in
Washington,
Illinois,
Associated
Mechanical,
Inc. (AMI), is
one of
central
Illinois's
largest
mechanical
contractors.
We install
industrial,
residential
and
commercial
HVAC
(heating and
cooling)
systems as
well as
plumbing,
piping and
necessary
fixtures all
across the
state of
Illinois.
AMI has
earned a
reputation
for
excellence.
Commitment
to quality
is the
cornerstone
of our
business
relationships.
Our success
begins with
hiring
diligent,
disciplined
and
responsible
union plumbers,
union pipefitters,
union
millwrights
and support
staff who
recognize
and
understand
the master
plan for
each
project.
Associated
Mechanical was
founded by
Robert
Elbert in
1983. Bob still
works most
everyday for
the company. Today,
Al Harms
leads and
guides the
company’s
growth and
development
as an
industry
expert.
Also working
at AMI
along with
Al is
Richard
"Buddy"
Hopkins who
leads the
Service
division. Jeff Bastien
is an
estimator
and project
manager. Greggory
O'Brien and
Dave Cummins
are field
Superintendents.
AMI has many
other
highly
skilled
employees.
A key to
smooth job
site
operation is
getting to
know the
architects,
engineers
and property
owners.
Communicating
effectively
with other
contractors
is another
key to a
smooth
operation.
This helps
us foresee
and avoid
problems
saving time
and
additional
expense.
AMI has
maintained
steady
growth and
that
continues to
be our
future
focus. We do
not want to
sacrifice
quality for
quantity.
The quantity
of work is
not what
built our
reputation.
Our quality
and good
name is
something
for which
the entire
staff is
very proud.
Also
important to
AMI is
a host of
expert
journeymen
workers, as
well as a
team of
reliable
apprentices,
office
personnel
and delivery
staff.
